We print the inner pages, make the covers and bind every copy ourselves, with no middlemen. That is how we look after every detail, from the paper to the final finish.
Types of binding
Every book calls for a different binding. These are the ones we make.
Hardcover
Rigid covers in cloth, paper, faux leather or leather. For art books, special editions and guest books.
Perfect binding
Softcover with the pages glued to the spine. For catalogues, reports and books with many pages.
Sewn softcover
The signatures are sewn with thread before gluing: the book is stronger and opens better.
Saddle stitch
For magazines, brochures and catalogues with few pages.
Wire-O and spiral
The book opens completely and lies flat. For diaries, notebooks, calendars and recipe books.
Japanese binding
Stitching visible on the spine, with matching thread. For notebooks, portfolios and artist’s editions.
Exposed sewn spine
An open spine that shows the sewn signatures. The book opens completely flat.
Slipcases and folders
To hold a special edition or present a collection of pieces.

Questions about books
Do you bind a single copy?
Yes. We have no minimum order: we bind from a single copy.
Which binding is right for me?
It depends on the use, the number of pages and how the book needs to open. We advise you and propose the most suitable binding, materials and finishes.
Do you also print the inner pages?
Yes. We print the interior in offset or digital, in full colour, and bind it in the same workshop.
Can you personalise the cover?
Yes. With gold, silver or copper foil, blind embossing or screen-printed relief, on cloth, paper, faux leather or leather.
